This is a result of the pressure pulling the pieces apart and the hard steel pin crushing and deforming the soft aluminum button body and fork strap. With these old school designs, it is not a matter of if, but when you will have a failure that will cost you a race and possibly much more... With the new design Hammerhead Rocket Launcher, your holeshot is guaranteed.
